President & Chief Executive Officer
Mark Ludwig’s career has been devoted to the post-acute healthcare industry for almost 30 years. Most recently he has led investment strategies for healthcare companies and consulted on large private equity-backed medical device company mergers. Mark served as the CEO of Joerns Healthcare for 14 years, leading Joerns to become the dominant DME provider to post-acute institutions during his tenure.
Prior to Joerns, he gained first-hand experience in building state of the art supply chain and analytics processing solutions for Sunrise Medical and DeVilbiss Healthcare during a 13-year career with those companies. In fact, Mark led the effort to build the post-acute industries first and very successful java-based SaaS portal in 1997 as an eCommerce executive at Sunrise Medical.
Mark’s career started in system engineering at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and has earned a degree in Computer Science as well as an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
President & Chief Commercial Officer
Scott has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Most recently he served as CEO of Next Level 11 a technology incubator in the healthcare sector. He was also a member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Therapy Dynamics, a leading provider of life support equipment rentals and sales. Scott led Therapy Dynamics to be one of the nation’s largest equipment providers that eventually led to an acquisition by Hill-Rom. Scott has also worked with Invacare as part of the international business development team. Scott has been instrumental in creating rental markets in the Acute, LTAC (Long Term Acute Care), LTC (Long Term Care), and home care markets both domestically and internationally.
EVP & Chief Operations Officer
As Vice President of Bonafide Management Systems, Sam bridges the exchange of information and ideas between technology and business, promoting and driving innovation and change. He has a proven track record in building high-performance IT organizations that are aligned to customer needs and has the ability to architect, build and implement Revenue Cycle Management solutions. Sam first worked at Bonafide from 1988-1996 as Director of R&D. During the formative years of the company’s development, he oversaw R&D operations and developed the product roadmap.
From Bonafide, Sam moved to KPS, where he was responsible for all IT leadership in the largest video-audio retail store chain in Hong Kong, with more than $100 million in annual revenue and over 450K members. Most recently, he was responsible for the overall direction of provider services for Emdeon. He worked closely with the executive team to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions within the organization.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma.
EVP & Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer of Bonafide Management Systems, Eddy is responsible for developing the company’s technology and continually improving the performance of its software. He also manages a technical support team to ensure every customer has absolute confidence in their ability to maximize the software’s potential. Eddy spends a significant percentage of his time speaking with customers to determine the future of the software. Though he’s definitely a tech guy at heart, he knows that without a solid understanding of how people actually use the software being developed, it is useless.
Eddy earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
EVP & Chief Implementation Officer
Bryan takes complex business challenges and finds an appropriate cost-effective solution for his clients. He is able to take complicated technical ideas and distill them into user-friendly solutions to improve the effectiveness of a company’s operations.
Bryan has over 25 years of experience in the HME, home health, hospice, and home infusion industries. Over these years Bryan has gained his experience as an owner of an HME company, as well as several management and executive-level positions in HME software and hospital reimbursement departments. He has achieved a successful track record in integrating advanced technology and software, accounting systems and workflows to improve an organization’s efficiencies, growth and profitability.
Bryan has a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Mellon.
